Want to get your hands dirty and help grow rainforest?

Join us at the Gondwana Rainforest Nursery and Gardens in Mullumbimby for our weekly volunteer mornings. It is a practical way to learn more about local plants and ecosystems while helping us restore rainforest and care for native rainforest species.

Whether you are an experienced gardener or completely new to nursery work, everyone is welcome!

What you’ll be doing

Volunteer activities vary from week to week and may include planting, weeding, mulching, bird surveying, identifying plants, seed collecting, nursery work and general site care.

You will have the opportunity to learn more about native plants, rainforest restoration and the work that goes into growing healthy plants for conservation projects.
